July 15, 2024

At Pinch, we are committed to providing the most comfortable and safe med spa experience in the industry. Whether the medical spa experience is new to you or you've been to a brick and mortar medical spa before, we'd like to outline what we do to ensure your safety.

‍

Alex Thiersch, chief executive officer of the American Med Spa Association, said the medical spa industry is growing and that Pinch has a viable business model. Thiersch said he’d only wonder how the company will keep up as demand grows.

Pinch Providers are all board certified, licensed and trained in aesthetics

‍

Pinch Providers are board-certified Nurse Practitioners and licensed healthcare professionals with extensive clinical training and experience.

Every provider completes Pinch’s proprietary training courses, developed hand in hand with aesthetics industry experts, as well as advanced education with leading aesthetics training partners. After training, Pinch Providers are also required to conduct a minimum number of live client appointments within their own network before you are able to book an appointment with them. To ensure continuous improvement, Pinch Providers have access to ongoing mentorship with master injectors, live physician clinical support, and continuing education with our pharmaceutical partners. This means your Pinch Provider has the qualifications, training, and experience to ensure your visit is both safe and outstanding! And, we're the ONLY medical spa that requires a Nurse Practitioner level of training, in addition the the fundamentals in aesthetics.

Transparent Provider Profiles & Company Reviews

When you book with Pinch, you can browse Providers in your area, see their full profile and message via SMS with your provider prior to an appointment. Unlike most medical spas that just include a photo and bio on their website, Pinch has full profile pages for every provider, including testimonials, reviews, and before/after photos, ensuring transparency and comfort. Following EVERY appointment, we request a review from clients which are available on the Provider Profile page and/or on our Google Local Med Spa page.

Product Sourcing and Shelf Life

xeomin chicago
Pinch sources pharma products directly from the manufacturer

‍

Pinch ALWAYS prioritizes client safety and comfort when selecting products. All products on the Pinch platform are FDA-approved and sourced directly from the manufacturer, ensuring quality control.

For example, our neurotoxin, Xeomin, is sourced directly from Merz, the pharmaceutical company that manufactures it. Each vial is meticulously tracked and inventoried to maintain the highest quality standards. Unlike Botox, Xeomin does not require refrigeration and remains stable at room temperature until use. Furthermore, Xeomin has been shown to reduce the risk of allergic reactions and natural resistance to its effects.
‍

All of our other products, including hyaluronic acid fillers, chemical peels, microneedling, and IVs, are also stable and safe at room temperature. Providers carry coolers or thermoses to maintain product integrity where appropriate, even on the hottest summer days. At Pinch, we never cut corners when it comes to your safety or when selecting the best and most effective products to offer.

Sterile Treatment Location

Pinch provides sterile treatments at your location

At Pinch, we bring top-notch providers and premium products directly to you, but a common question is if receiving treatments at home is safe. The answer is a resounding yes!

Contrary to the misconception that medical offices are more sterile than homes, shared spaces can actually increase infection risk. Many procedures, from in-home blood draws to ear piercings, are safely performed outside traditional medical environments. And, often times medical facilities like hospitals are where people most often pick up infections or illness. Pinch providers are trained to identify and prepare the space to ensure a clean, safe, and effective experience.
‍

To keep you safe, all Pinch Providers adhere to strict sterilization protocols, including using Caviwipe-soaked sterile gauze to clean all surfaces and 70% isopropyl alcohol to clean the skin before each treatment. With Pinch, you never need to worry about previous clients’ infections in public spaces.
