Bunny lines are diagonal and vertical wrinkles that appear on the bridge of the nose and on either side of the nose with repeated contractions (squinting and laughing) of the nasalis muscle.
Bunny lines pop up on the nose from all the fun expressions we make, like laughing or giving a big, cheeky grin. It's all part of living life to the fullest!
When it comes to smoothing out those expression lines and keeping your vibe as vibrant as your personality, Tox is your go-to. It's like a little magic wand for your skin, relaxing those specific muscles and giving you that smooth, selfie-ready look.
For expressive Bunny Lines, it's usually around 5 to 10 units of Tox. Our Providers will review the number of units needed during your treatment assesment.
Typically, your Tox treatment for Bunny Lines will last for about 3 to 4 months.
At Pinch Tox is $12 per unit so your treatment range is between $60 to $120.
The anatomy of your facial muscles plays a crucial role in determining the amount of Tox you need. Your provider will assess your facial composition and the strength of your various facial muscles to determine the right dosage for you.
For example, stronger muscles like those in the forehead might require more units compared to smaller muscles found around the corners of the eyes (crow's feet) or on your nose (bunny lines).
Remember, each treatment is personalized for you and you only!
"Preventative Botox" refers to the concept of preventing the creation of wrinkles and deep lines by relaxing the muscles with botulinum toxin injections. Think about it this way: It’s way easier not to crumple the paper than it is to get it perfectly flat after it’s already been crumpled.
The term "Baby Botox" refers to using a smaller dosage of a specific neuromodulator such as Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, etc. during the injection. Many patients prefer this method as it allows for subtle changes to their appearance. Ultimately, your provider will review your treatment goals and administer the right dosage of the Tox to achieve those goals.
Our treatment is referred to as "Tox" rather than "Botox," which is the generic name for neurotoxin treatment, as well as the name of the drug manufactured by Allergan. Like all drugs, there are many brands of "Botox." Allergan's Botox was the first to come to market, but over time there have been many other formulas for neurotoxin. At Pinch, we use Xeomin because it is shelf-stable and the cleanest neurotoxin on the market. This means that you are least likely to build up resistance to the drug, unlike other neurotoxins. Xeomin works to provide the same results as Botox, Dysport, and other neurotoxins.
